"What an absolutely wonderful doctor Alden Tetlie is! My wife and I, and eventually our children, began seeing him about 20 or 30 years ago and every time we visit him he is the epitome of what a knowledgeable, caring, intelligent doctor should be. He always takes the time to listen and answer questions, and always knows exactly what to do. We are lucky to have him as our physician, and Entira is lucky to have him in your system." Bob

National Mental Illness Awareness Week
By Heather LaBere, MD
Mental Illness Awareness Week (MIAW)was established in 1990by the U.S. Congress in recognition of efforts by theNational Alliance on Mental Illness(NAMI) to educate and increase awareness about mental illness.
About one in four adults suffer from a diagnosable mental illness. The goal of Mental Illness Awareness Week is to create community awareness and discussion in an effort to put an end to stigma and advocate for treatment and recovery.
Entira Family Clinics’ providers take care of the whole person, including behavioral medicine and mental health. Our providers offer care and treatment for patients with depression, anxiety, and many other behavioral problems, whether acute or chronic. For more information, go to Entira Family Clinics.
Four of our clinics also offer on-site appointments with psychologists from Midwest Center for Personal Development. This arrangement provides our patients with better and more convenient access to mental health counselors, as well as improved communication between their provider and therapist.

After 41 wonderful years practicing medicine, I retired as of June 30, 2015.
I started at the Gorman Clinic (West St Paul) in July 1974 when it was located on Gorman Avenue in West St. Paul. In 1976, the clinic moved to its current location. In those 41 years, I have delivered hundreds of babies, watched as the infants grew into adults and delivered a second generation of babies as well. Read more.
